Bass & Flinders’ Winter Gin captures the essence of winter with those distinctive wintry notes of orange, cassia bark and pepper berry that are characteristic of the season. It is a triple distilled grape based gin that has been distilled from Shiraz grapes offering a bold fruity palate. This grape spirit is then blended with a hand-crafted aged spirit made from an apple cider which sat on its lees for 12 months before being distilled twice and then aged for two years in old French Oak barrels. The blending of these two spirits has combined the flavours from the apples, pears and citrus with the unique wood aromas and flavours of the French oak to produce an outstanding sipping gin, that is best enjoyed on its own in front of a fire on a crisp winter’s afternoon.
