When two fellow IWSC Gin Producers of the Year join forces to make a collaboration gin, you know it will be a cracker! The idea behind the recent drop from Australia’s Four Pillars’ & Japan’s Kyoto Distillery Changing Seasons Gin was simple – create something that would take the unique seasonal botanicals from Australia and Japan, and make a gin that would drink brilliantly in both places, in all weathers and seasons.
Changing Seasons Gin has big bright aromas of pine needle, green citrus from yuzu and desert lime, and light green tea. The quandong and kinmokusei flowers add a fruit flavour, and the texture is driven by hinoki, red pine and dense juniper. This is a gin for all seasons, so try it in a G&T with honeydew any time of the year or any number of seasonal gin drinks. Kanpai!
To bring you a full G&T experience, we’ve paired with Long-Rays Tonic (low in sugar and made locally from native Australian ingredients), as well as 3x individually picked botanicals to complement the flavour of the gin. Alternatively, if you’re already stocked up on tonic, you can replace it with any two additional garnishes from our shop (just let us know upon check out).
